
<p>This week I reached way back in time to a lesson I learned when my children were young, and I was a young teacher. As always, I learned from one of my students. This time, the lesson was the ;<a href="https://thebestwordsllc.com/tell-your-loved-ones-you-love-them-all-the-time/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">importance of telling your family you love them</a>.</p>

<p>Even this morning, I continued my work to undo a generation of stoicism by telling my mom I loved her, multiple times. She reciprocated every time! We can learn, we can grow.</p>

<p>Also, it took a lot of planning and driving and moving but we had a huge milestone this week. Ben and Kendall moved to a house in Cleveland! College + independent living + 4 hours from home will be a big test for everyone involved, but the pieces are in place for success. And let&#8217;s face it, a move like this is itself a sign of success.</p>

<p>Speaking of stoicism, and I was, I highly recommend the book and website The Daily Stoic ( ;<a href="https://app.convertkit.com/campaigns/6819940/dailystoic.com" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">dailystoic.com</a> ;). It is a great resource to learn about stoicism and the philosophers who practiced it, and how the principles can be applied to your daily life. (Keeping in mind, of course, ;<a href="https://thebestwordsllc.com/tell-your-loved-ones-you-love-them-all-the-time/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">the importance of telling people you love them</a>.)</p>



<p>Also, creator Ryan Holiday is a great example of how a simple concept + determination + a publishing schedule = thousands of subscribers. Ryan has also published three books, and now he even has a podcast!</p>



<p>Among bloggers, he is a bit of a legend.</p>
